The dwarves, led by Wynwern Goldmane, investigated an old temple where the Fire Elemental Myrmidon roams since its master disappeared 200 years ago.

A band of cultist Duergar worships it but cannot fully control it, their mad leader, a Duergar Mind Master uses Mind Mastery to contain and in some manner direct it to different parts of the temple.

The heroes traverses the temple, fighting a Assassin Vine and disposes of the cultists. When they free the elemental, it escapes via a teleportation conduit. Millicent investigates and disappears.

Mourning their loss they are rewarded and travels back to Saltmarsh.

The night before the Council of War the party is invite to Anders Solomor together with the most important members of the town council. They are treated as royalty and the menu contains pure delicacies:

During the dinner, Anders butler Skerrin gets a message to urgent travel to Seaton and disappears. His replacement is a young woman who is an assassin from the Scarlet Brotherhood! She takes the opportunity to try to kill Anders as he fetches a rare ingredient from his vault. But Anders chef, Saint-Jacques Moelleux, is present and can hold off the attack until the party joins the fight.

They are victorious and the party invites Saint-Jacques Moelleux to join them!

After the council meet they get a map from the lizardfolk; it is written in Sahuagin and only Saint-Jaques can read it. On their way to the Sahuagin fortress they need to go to by an old tower outside of Saltmarsh. They run into some thugs before they made the trip west and the Sahuagin fortess.
